The participation of foreign students in the festival Ukrainian and Turkish cultures, which is held in the Odessa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater. Anyone wishing to take part in a master class in the ancient Turkish style painting on the water - Ebru. The oldest drawings made in this technique, date back to the 11th century.
Songs in the Ukrainian and Turkish languages, as well as traditional dances from both countries has generated enormous interest among foreign students. Music that came out to dance not only artists, but everyone did not stop in the hall. Representatives of the Turkish side organized a mini-exhibition of arts and crafts: porcelain, hand-painted glassware, costumes and bags. Our students not only tried dishes of Turkish cuisine (raw patties "chii jacket", baklava, sherbet, ayran, oriental sweets), but also Ukrainian cuisine, including the famous Ukrainian dumplings.
After the anthem of Turkey and Ukraine celebratory concert began and ended with bright golden fireworks.
At the festival, the two cultures of our students not only learned a lot of new and interesting, but were directly involved in this celebration.
April 8 foreign students visited Odessa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy. M.Vodyanogo. Undoubtedly, the rock opera "Romeo and Juliet" has left our students an unforgettable experience. Students hit the synthesis of contemporary art and classical music, and touched the hearts of a story that lives for centuries.
April 9 this year, a study bus tour through the historic center of Odessa was organized. Foreign students met not only with the history of Odessa, but also saw the palaces in the Romanesque style, French passages, the Greek construction. The tour was conducted on the most interesting places in Odessa French Boulevard, Duma Square, Potemkin Stairs, Naval Station, the famous Deribasovskaya Street, Garden City, Teschin bridge and others. Foreigners acquainted with a fascinating history associated with architectural monuments orange, Dil Tera Aashiq; learned the names of prominent historical figures and famous citizens of Odessa.
Our students have noted the uniqueness of Odessa, its flavor and unique history; marveled at the fact that our city is inhabited by people of more than 100 nationalities and all are proud to call themselves Odessa.
